💷 How do you price a clearance?

Our pricing is based on:

• Volume of items to be cleared

• Labour time required to load and sort

• Access and disposal costs

We’ll usually ask for a few photos or arrange a quick visit before giving a quote.
Good-quality reusable items can reduce your cost through our Pass It On Project.

⚖️ Are you licensed to remove waste?

Yes. We hold a full Waste Carrier Licence (CBDU577314), and every clearance is handled in line with environmental regulations.
Everything is disposed of legally and ethically.

♻️ What happens to the items you remove?

Anything in good condition is sorted and reused through our Pass It On Project — donated or sold affordably to help local families and charities.
Only what truly can’t be reused is sent for recycling or responsible disposal.

🛋 Do you charge extra for certain items?

Yes — some items require specialist disposal and carry an extra charge:

• Fridges / Freezers

• TVs or computer monitors

• Mattresses

• Upholstered furniture (POPs waste — due to fire safety & environmental regulations)

• Paint, oil, or chemicals

We’ll always point this out before the job — no hidden fees, ever.

🕊 How do you handle bereavement or probate clearances?

With compassion and respect.
We understand it’s a difficult time, so we handle everything quietly and keep sentimental or personal items safe for the family.
We can also work directly with estate agents or solicitors if needed.

💚 What is the Pass It On Project?

Our Pass It On Project is a community reuse scheme where we give a second life to items cleared from homes.
We sell and donate usable goods to help local families furnish homes affordably and to raise funds for independent South Yorkshire charities.
We’ve even dedicated Mondays to collecting items directly for charity shops as part of our Pass It On Mondays mission.
