The family behind Vernons House Clearance

I'm Kym. I run a female-run house clearance business based in Rotherham. I started Vernons because I wanted to offer something a bit different from the usual clearance or waste-removal service.

A lot of the work I do is for people dealing with bereavement, downsizing, family homes or difficult circumstances. So I wanted the business to feel approachable, respectful and personal, rather than just turning up, throwing everything in a van and treating it all as rubbish.

I take time to sort through properties properly, reuse and redistribute what I can, and keep as much as possible out of landfill. The aim is to make what can be a stressful or emotional job feel a bit easier for the customer, while still being reliable, efficient and straightforward.
