Reuse comes first

Where the furniture goes after a house clearance

One house clearance can furnish someone else's home. Good things are passed on wherever we can, and kept out of landfill.

Three routes out of the house

  1. 1

    Reusable

Furniture, homeware and essentials that are clean, safe and in good condition are passed on to be used again wherever we can, instead of being thrown away.

  2. 2

    Recyclable

Metal, wood, textiles and other materials are recycled responsibly.

  3. 3

    The rest

What can't be reused or recycled goes to a licensed waste facility. We are a registered waste carrier, CBDU577314.

What gets passed on

We do the reuse ourselves, as part of the clearance. Anything clean, safe and in good condition is set aside while we sort, so it can be used again:

  • Furniture in good condition
  • Homeware
  • Household essentials
  • Collectables
“I take time to sort through properties properly, reuse and redistribute what I can, and keep as much as possible out of landfill.”
Kym Vernon

You stay in charge

Passing things on is part of the normal clearance. It costs you nothing extra.

You can say no

Tell us you would rather nothing was passed on, and nothing is.

You can choose

Tell us which things you would most like to see reused, and they come first where possible.

Some things are never passed on

Personal documents, sensitive items and anything not fit for reuse.

Clear the house, and keep the good things in use
